A Visit to Wonder Woman’s Island—
Embodying our Purpose, Passion, and Power!
What would it be like to live in a culture where it never occurred to anybody that women were supposed to be submissive to men and live only to support others’ agendas? Where we women joyfully inhabit our bodies and lovingly exercise our own special powers? At this time, the world NEEDS authentically empowered women whose FULL EMBODIMENT makes it possible for us to hold our own center of gravity and draw our culture into its next level of development. We must create a culture where we honor and fully value women along with all living Beings; where we heal the sexual pathologies that our present culture supports (widespread rape, commercial exploitation of sexuality, attitudes toward “beauty” that alienate women from their own bodies, etc.); where corporate profits no longer take precedence over the well-being of the Earth and all living Beings. We have fun in our community of women playfully gleaning lessons from Wonder Woman’s Amazon island for standing in our purpose, passion, and power—so that we can strengthen our energetic integration and balance as we make our way along our unique and often challenging paths in life!

In TWH, we can heal the mind, body, and spirit. As we meet the plants, we will touch on the Doctrine of Signatures, learn about practical everyday uses including first aid & winter wellness, uses in times of trauma, and receive some tid bits to make a spiritual connection with the plants.
By the end of the walk, you will deepen your connection with the Earth and you will see the Earth with a new set of eyes.

We explore both our fierce power and our tender vulnerability, as they both emerge from the sanctity of our hearts. We presence our feminine legacy of womb wisdom by engaging in grounding, meditation, moon mystery education, embodiment practices, dancing, sharing, and more, as we source deep nourishment and profound connection to the intuitive feminine essence within.

Sonia Casey is a wife, mother, herbalist, wellness coach, Earth activist, reiki master, and educator. Her fondness and appreciation for the Earth and plants came at a young age when she traveled to Japan to spend time with family. She noticed how much the Japanese pay attention to and honor the Earth’s gifts throughout the year with the changes in the seasons.
Sonia believes that herbal medicine can be used for wellness and spiritual growth in addition to the plants’ abilities to help us release our shadows. She is a root cause revolutionary and is passionate about helping individuals young and old elevate their wellness to bring joy back into their life to live their soul’s purpose.
Putting her accounting career aside in 2011 to focus on the health and well being of her family, Sonia made the transition to wellness work and eventually incorporated her passion with herbalism. Sonia has received her hands on training in herbalism from Twin Cities herbalists Lise Wolff and Erin Piorier. She is also a volunteer with the Twin Cities chapter of Herbalists Without Borders (HWB). She has also studied flower essences with Martin Bulgerin.
